As a physician, I have taken a lot of courses over the past 7 years and I haven't encountered many gems. The Academy course is a true gem! I was so impressed by every little detail. I have to comment first on the content of the course. I think learners truly benefit from having a foundational course that starts at the very basics assuming nothing about prior knowledge. We can all stand to review our basics and it is probably this foundational learning that makes us best in our fields. I do believe that knowing one's physiology and anatomy is crucial, in order to become truly proficient as an injector and to take care of our patients in the safest manner possible. The hands-on learning gained in the course from having the opportunity to work with clients as well as watching others interact with clients is invaluable. The hands-on portion of the course is one of the most encouraging factors for continuing onwards in the profession and knowing that, yes, I can safely and creatively serve clients in their medical aesthetics journey.

I never felt awkward asking a single question. I felt so inspired by the wealth of information that the group had to offer around the medical practice of aesthetics and was truly appreciative of the expertise offered by Julianne surrounding the business and marketing aspect of venturing into aesthetic injectables.

I took the Academy course in October, and I can't say enough positive things about it. There was the perfect amount of theory and hands-on training. The instructors were knowledgeable but also approachable and fun. Even the snacks and meals were perfectly executed. What an incredible experience! I have been dreaming of becoming an injector for a long time, and Frida Academy has helped make this dream become a reality. I would give my overall experience a 12/10! I took away an immense amount of information, skills, and confidence from this course. With the help of Kimber and the Frida Family, I was able to take the next step in my career as a Nurse Injector. My favourite components from this course included the hands-on training and client interaction. Specifically, injecting lip filler and having an over-the-moon client! I enjoyed learning in-depth about the muscles, arteries and facial anatomy. A good teaching technique included drawing the muscles and arteries on a person; this really solidified the locations for me. In addition to this, the business part of the course is a game changer. Including a section on resumes, networking and interview preparation was extremely beneficial. Lastly, Kimber is so kind, knowledgeable, patient and supportive!! I don't think I can ever thank her enough for her help and teaching. I mean, Frida was going through a lockdown due to covid, and she still gave the class and me her full undivided attention. I would highly recommend this course! You will learn so much and come away with a wealth of knowledge, confidence, and support from Kimber and the Frida Family!

Although fast-paced and jam-packed with information, this course was fantastic! The content provided was not only thorough but well organized, relevant and easy to follow. We were provided with a ton of educational resources in advance and during the week, in addition to reviewing first-hand examples of situations that may arise in practice, hands-on training, videos/pics, live models and catered lunches and snacks. A great quality educator makes a huge difference, and you could see by the way this course was organized and the delivery of content that Kimber put her heart and soul into it. Having models to work on was greatly beneficial and allowed for extra practice on all three days. I came out feeling super motivated and excited to start my career in injectables. The environment was relaxed and fun, professional and supportive. Kimber and her team were incredibly kind and lovely to work with. Everyone was welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging. Despite the unending questions I had, everyone made time to answer all of them. Originally I was torn between where to take my course through, but after completing the Frida Academy, I am 1000% thrilled with my decision. The Academy by Frida exceeded my expectations. Before attending, I was provided with a comprehensive injectors manual, which allowed me to come to the course with a solid foundation of knowledge.
